Thread & Twine

Hi there! My name is Missie Bertelsen, I’m the creator behind Thread & Twine. During summer break 13 year-old me sat on my bedroom floor with a simple sewing machine from Walmart and cheap fabric from thrift stores laid out across my floor. I had my sewing machine balanced on top of an upside down basket, and with Pinterest tutorials as my guide, I stitched my very first creations. Although high school kept me busy with sports, academics, and friends, recently after graduating I’ve rediscovered my passion for sewing which has quickly grown into a creative outlet I truly enjoy. Picking it up again reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place. Today, Thread & Twine is where I bring that passion to life. I sell different types of bags and offer custom embroidery to make each product uniquely yours. Each piece is handmade with care, creativity, and precision. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and sharing new creations with all of you!
